About Modives:
Modives is the company behind CheckMy Driver, a modern insurance verification platform built for automotive retail. We help dealerships remove friction, reduce risk, and move deals faster — replacing outdated, manual insurance checks with live carrier-connected verification, real-time monitoring, and workflow automation.
Our clients use CheckMy Driver to improve speed to sale, protect dealership assets, reduce uninsured exposure, and deliver a better customer experience from first touchpoint to F&I close.
We are an early-stage, high-growth company with a proven product and strong market pull. The people who join now will shape what we become.
The Role
We are hiring a proven outbound professional who understands dealerships — because you lived in that world.
You may have come from a BDC, internet sales department, service BDC, showroom floor, F&I support role, or a vendor sales role calling on dealers. You know how dealerships operate. You know how busy managers are, who the real gatekeepers are, how to read month-end pressure, and how to earn credibility in the first 30 seconds of a call.
Your mission is clear: open doors, create genuine interest, qualify opportunities, and book meetings for our Account Executives with franchise auto dealers across the United States.
This role is built for someone with thick skin, urgency, hustle, and the professionalism to stay sharp after hearing “not interested” ten times before lunch. If that sounds like you, keep reading.
Responsibilities:
- Drive High-Volume Outbound Activity: Make daily outbound calls, emails, and structured follow-up sequences to franchise dealerships across the U.S.
- Book Qualified Meetings: Schedule product demos and discovery calls for Account Executives with the right decision makers at each store.
- Target the Right People: Reach Dealer Principals, General Managers, GSMs, F&I Directors, Fixed Ops leaders, and Risk stakeholders.
- Speak the Language of the Store: Use your dealership background to earn credibility fast and connect the CheckMy Driver value proposition to real operational pain.
- Articulate the Value: Clearly explain how CheckMy Driver improves operations, reduces deal friction, and protects dealerships from uninsured exposure and compliance risk.
- Own Your Pipeline: Manage activity, notes, tasks, and follow-up cadences inside the CRM with discipline and consistency.
- Work All Lead Sources: Pursue aged leads, inbound interest, partner-sourced opportunities, and net new prospecting lists.
- Hit and Exceed Activity Goals: Meet daily outreach metrics and monthly meeting targets — and know exactly where you stand against them.
- Feed Intelligence Back to the Team: Share market feedback, objection patterns, competitive insight, and deal trends with leadership.
- Stay Sharp in Cadence: Participate in weekly team calls to align priorities, share wins, and refine your approach.
What You Bring
Your Background
- Former dealership BDC rep, internet sales rep, service BDC rep, F&I support rep, or automotive vendor SDR/BDR
- Comfortable making outbound calls all day and doing it well — not just tolerating it
- Strong phone presence: confident, concise, and professional without sounding scripted
- Deep familiarity with dealership hierarchy, store operations, and what it takes to reach a decision maker
- Organized with follow-up — you close your loops and you don’t let leads go cold
- Able to handle rejection and bounce back fast — you don’t need external motivation to stay in the game
Preferred Experience
- Experience working inside dealerships or in a selling role directly targeting dealership decision makers
- Familiarity with dealership CRMs, DMS platforms, inventory tools, F&I or service lane software, or automotive workflow technology
- Prior B2B sales, appointment setting, or outbound SaaS/technology sales experience
- Experience working in or alongside a BDC team with defined daily metric targets
Why This Role Wins
- You already know the customer — no learning curve on dealership culture, hierarchy, or workflow
- You’re selling a real painkiller, not a nice-to-have: speed to sale, compliance protection, fraud prevention, and customer experience improvement
- Strong and growing market demand driven by dealership efficiency mandates, FTC compliance requirements, and rising uninsured exposure
- Clear progression path into Account Executive and sales leadership roles as the company scales
- Early-stage environment where your performance is visible, your voice is heard, and your contributions matter
- A tight-knit team with high standards and a culture built around integrity and consistent execution
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
- Uncapped commission tied directly to meetings booked and pipeline performance
- Full-time benefits package
- Accelerators for overachievement — strong months are rewarded
- 401(k) eligibility
- Paid time off and company holidays
Culture Fit
We want grinders with integrity. People who show up prepared, stay coachable, compete daily, and take real pride in winning the hard way. We don’t carry passengers. We don’t reward activity theater. We recognize and invest in people who produce.
If you have come up in the dealership world and are ready to bring that knowledge to a growing technology company where your effort translates directly into results, this is your seat at the table.
How to Apply
Send your resume and a short note that answers the following:
- Your dealership or automotive outbound background — role, store type, and how long
- How many outbound calls you handled per day and how you managed your pipeline
- One deal, appointment, or situation where you turned a hard “no” into a “yes”
- Why you believe you would win in this role
Applications without a note will not be considered. We want to hear how you think and communicate before we get on the phone.
