CheckMy Driver Brings Automated Insurance Verification and Monitoring to the DealerClick DMS

Dealers Get Actionable Analysis, Not Just Data, To Protect Their Businesses

Charlotte, NC, October 14, 2024 — Modives and DealerClick announced today a powerful new partnership that enables independent dealerships to automate insurance verification and monitoring within their DMS, saving dealers countless hours of monotonous work.

CheckMy Driver, the Modives solution for auto transactions, offers a streamlined and frictionless experience for consumers to verify their insurance is active, accurate, and adequate on their own device directly through carriers. This award-winning application tackles the specific challenges of independent dealerships, including Buy Here, Pay Here (BHPH) and Lease Here, Pay Here (LHPH) operations, to increase efficiency and mitigate risk in auto sales.

“The DealerClick DMS is a powerful, unified solution for independent dealers, and CheckMy Driver fits right in,” said Modives CEO Frederick Waite. “By automating insurance verification and monitoring within their existing system, independent dealers can unlock major efficiency gains and protect their assets in high-risk transactions.”

Through this partnership, dealerships using the DealerClick DMS can pull CheckMy Driver insurance verification results during any auto transaction, reducing the 15-30 minute process to as little as two minutes each time. They can also set up ongoing monitoring within the platform, ensuring timely notifications when a customer cancels or changes their coverage.

“CheckMy Driver is a perfect addition to our DMS, delivering actionable business insights, not just data and more work,” said DealerClick’s Kevin Mitchell. “The way CheckMy Driver monitors that policies remain in place and unchanged, with automated risk mitigation solutions in place if anything is out of line, is unparallelled in the space. We’ve never seen anything like it, and are excited to offer it to our customers.”

As uninsured driver rates rise to 14%, building an airtight verification system is becoming top priority for risk-conscious dealers. Through the CheckMy Driver and DealerClick integration, they can get up-to-date coverage information directly from the carrier on a regular basis. Whenever they get notified about a policy change that violates the insurance requirement, dealers can place CPI to eliminate risk until coverage is reinstated.

DealerClick DMS customers will be able to log in and access CheckMy Driver functionality, including ID authentication, insurance verification, and continuous monitoring, all integrated directly into the platform. Learn more at CheckMyDriver.ai.
